Composition Rules - Big & Small Practice

Phase 1 Process:
- Create a new folder called "big_and_small"
- Online, find a photo of a person
- Find a large photo of a person that shows their entire head (no cut off heads).
- SAVE that photo to your "big_and_small" folder.
- Create a new document called "2_lastname_bsp1" that's letter-sized, portrait.
- PLACE your photo on your document.
- Cut out the background of the image using various selection or eraser tools.
- Give the background a solid color; gradient; or subtle colored texture.
- Use the text tool to lay out the words, "Big and Small".
- Arrange the items to show the concept of big and small.
- Save the PSD to your "big_and_small" folder.
- Save a JPG to your "big_and_small" folder.
- Turn in the JPG.
Phase 2 Process:
- Open your "bsp1" file.
- SAVE AS to your "big_and_small" folder, change the name to "bsp2.psd".
- Rearrange the same elements to show off the opposite big and small arrangement from your first file.
- SAVE the PSD
- SAVE the JPG
- Turn in the JPG.
